Meet Kristina

I’ve always been curious about how things work. As a kid, that curiosity showed up in puzzles. Today, it shows up in helping organizations solve complex financial and operational challenges.

Born and raised in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, I grew up in a family that valued education, service, and hard work. My father was an engineer who
introduced me to computers when I was 10 years old. One of his favorite sayings was, “Computers don’t do anything you don’t tell them to do.” Looking back, that simple lesson shaped the way I approach almost everything. Before you can improve a process or solve a problem, you first have to understand how the system works.

That curiosity led me to study Management Information Systems at Bentley University. As I learned more about business, I realized that finance and accounting are the foundation of every organization. If I wanted to help organizations solve meaningful business problems, I needed to understand that foundation. That realization led me to become a CPA and earn a Master of Accounting & Financial Management.

Today, I bring those disciplines together through Pillar Professional Solutions. I enjoy helping organizations improve financial systems, reporting, and operations by looking beyond the numbers to understand how people, processes, technology, and financial information all work together.

I’ve also spent part of my career teaching adult professionals. Whether in a classroom or online, I learned that patience matters. The best solutions aren’t just technically correct—they’re the ones people understand, embrace, and can confidently use long after the project is complete.

At the end of the day, I simply enjoy helping people solve problems. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping an organization move from feeling
overwhelmed by complexity to having the clarity and confidence to move forward.
